Danna Richards, a Montana native who grew up in Paradise Valley (near Livingston, Montana), started playing piano at age 3 and later taught herself guitar in High School. She started writing songs during the grueling journey of a year and a half back surgery recovery, and later earned a Bachelors Degree in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Recently, Danna created a following of 17,000 people on YouTube by writing and delivering a song a day for 1 year in a project she called “My Nine to Five.” She continues to release new, self-produced and recorded music videos, and is using online collaborations to create content viewable worldwide. She also creates vlogs on a regular basis to keep in constant communication with her fans.
She is dedicating this next year to producing and making an album of song selections from the song-a-day project.
